Why don’t people take me seriously? Why am I afraid to flirt, or oblivious to flirting altogether? Why are social interactions so overwhelming for me? Why do I keep getting sick? Why don’t the words come out at the right time? Why does speaking up tire me?
You may think that these are all intellectual questions, and try to solve them from a top-down approach. The problem is that limits and boundaries are felt and perceived through our facial expressions, body language and the content of our words. Our bodies are speaking louder than all other frameworks. Shifting our boundaries requires a bottom-up, body-first approach.
In this workshop you will: Understand your default response and how to rewire it, discover your hooks and practice a plan for getting free of them, express convincing yes’es and no’s.
Our ability to practice these skills is at the heart of our self-worth and the transmission of our value to the outer world.
This workshop will be highly interactive with many somatic exercises.
